Mitsubishi Digital Electronics has announced its new XD211U data projector. The XD211U is a native XGA (1024 x 768 pixels) resolution projector that uses the latest DLP® technology from Texas Instruments, and its new DDP 2230 DMD chip with BrilliantColor®.
For portability, the Mitsubishi XD211U weighs in at just six pounds and has a conveniently compact design. Other features like instant shut-off makes tight classroom or conference scheduling easy and a high-brightness lamp, that lasts up to 3000 hours with 2200 lumens, enables users to present in a myriad of lighting conditions—even in rooms with the lights on and window shades open. In addition, the XD211U comes with a plug-and-play feature that automatically recognizes either video or data input sources.
Most importantly, the Mitsubishi XD211U is designed with a handy removable control key pad, which acts as a theft-deterrent and a great way to control usage. In addition to the detachable key pad, the Mitsubishi XD211U comes with a sturdy security hook built into the projector's attractively designed white cabinet to help avoid unauthorized removal of the projector.
"We consider our XD211U an entry-level projector with high-level specifications," said Wayne Kozuki, Product Manager, Mitsubishi Digital Electronics America's Presentation Products Division. "The combination of features and high brightness makes this projector perfect for office and school environments."
