Scientific Learning Corp. announced this week that the Utah State Board of Education has selected the Fast ForWord® and Reading Assistant™ family of products as an approved Elementary Language Arts program for Utah schools and districts. The products included in the adoption are: Fast ForWord Language, Fast ForWord Language to Reading, Fast ForWord Reading Prep, Fast ForWord Reading 1-5, and Reading Assistant with Curriculum Levels 1-5.
The Fast ForWord and Reading Assistant family of products was approved as a language arts solution for kindergarten through fifth grade. The adoption went into effect July 1 for a period of five years. Utah’s 40 school districts and 508 elementary schools can purchase the Fast ForWord software and Reading Assistant software with funds designated for state instructional materials.
