ESD speaks with Sean McKeever, Director of Classroom Solutions at eInstruction, about two new products and a corresponding software upgrade it is introducing at FETC.
ESD: Tell us about the new Interwrite Mobi™, Interwrite DualBoard™ and Workspace® 8.0 software.
SM: All three products are designed to work together, as well as with other interactive classroom devices, to give teachers a next-generation toolset for greater collaboration and interaction with and among students. Together, they make it easier for both teachers and students to collaboratively access, manipulate and interact with a rapidly expanding universe of digital lesson content. Take the new Interwrite Mobi, for instance—the world's first multi-user wireless tablet. It gives teachers the freedom to move about the classroom, while controlling lesson content directly from the tablet. At the same time, two or more students can use additional student versions of the Mobi to collaborate with each other, or with the teacher, to solve problems, have team competitions or make presentations.
ESD: What's the difference between the Interwrite Mobi and Interwrite Mobi Learner?
SM: The Interwrite Mobi has a built-in, color LCD screen, called a "KWIK" [Know-What-I-Know] screen that displays real-time assessment results when used with CPS, our market-leading student response system. The student versions do not display these results, but work the same in all other ways.
ESD: And what about the DualBoard and Workspace software?
SM: The Interwrite DualBoard takes current whiteboard technology a giant technological step forward, allowing two people to display and annotate content at the same time—again facilitating teacher-student or student-student collaboration. The Workspace 8.0 software is the engine behind the Mobi and DualBoard that, besides providing instant access to a wide variety of digital content and annotation tools, allows multiple users to interact simultaneously and work collaboratively.
ESD: Is this new technology?
SM: It's new in the sense that it allows multiple users to work together, or use it concurrently, even though the tablet and whiteboard operate much like their single-user predecessors. The whole point of these new products is to make the "interactive classroom" an even more engaging and collaborative experience—and lift student achievement to a higher level.

Houses are quite expensive and not everyone is able to buy it. Nevertheless, personal loans was created to aid people in such kind of cases.
