Ballard & Tighe, Publishers will feature its English language development (ELD) products at the California Association for Bilingual Education (CABE) conference starting tomorrow.
Over 50 percent of California schools use at least one Ballard & Tighe product which may include: Carousel of IDEAS for grades K-5, Champion of IDEAS for grades 6-12, the IPT® Family of Tests or various supplementary materials. Ballard & Tighe’s ELD materials are proficiency-based and focus on explicit language instruction for both social and academic purposes. Ten of their products are approved for purchase with funds from California Assembly Bill 1802.
Ballard & Tighe consultant, Dr. Connie Williams, will present a one-hour workshop titled Carousel as a Curriculum to Implement Systematic ELD on Friday, February 27 at 10:45 a.m. in the Hyatt Regency Hotel in the Regency F Ballroom.
Ballard & Tighe products may be previewed in the exhibit hall booth 417 during the CABE conference.
