10ZiG Technology, formerly BOSaNOVA, Inc., and Aqua Connect, Inc. announce that they have extended the deadline on their classroom technology giveaway in which they together are donating over $17,000 in green technology to a school. The donation, a Mac Terminal Services Thin Client Lab, includes licenses and maintenance for the Aqua Connect Terminal Server and 10ZiG Thin Clients. Entries can now be submitted at www.edugogreen.com until June 12, 2009.
Aqua Connect and 10ZiG’s partnership delivers green desktops to Mac Users. The donation includes 20 energy efficient 10ZiG RBT-466 Thin Clients, 20 concurrent connections of the Aqua Connect Terminal Server and a year of maintenance and support. Universities, colleges, technical schools and school districts are all eligible to enter.
“This giveaway will be a great thing for the winning school and we’re excited to be in the position to donate. Many applicants have commented that their students are using out of date machines that use a lot of energy. We look forward to providing the winning school with energy efficient technology,” comments Martin Pladgeman, President, 10ZiG Technology.
“The response to the first-ever Green Campaign giveaway has been a tremendous success. With the school year ending for many K-12s and higher education institutions, we understand this is an extremely busy time for teachers and staff,” explained Renee Mehrian, CEO, Aqua Connect. “The extension of the deadline will give more schools the fair opportunity to partake in this extraordinary giveaway.”
